💡 Golf Tip of the Week

Stop Trying to "Hit" Your Putts

Top instructors say most amateur golfers struggle on the greens because they jab at the ball instead of making a smooth stroke. PGA coaches recommend focusing on a steady shoulder-driven motion with quiet wrists to improve consistency and distance control.

Quick Drill:
Place a tee 3 feet behind the ball and focus on making your backstroke reach the tee before accelerating through the putt. This helps create a smoother tempo and better roll.

Simple Reminder:
"Smooth stroke… don't poke."

Better putting = lower scores. Spend 10 minutes on the practice green this week and watch the difference.
